Having spoken with many educators and school support staff in our county, I have heard about their many significant concerns including the following:
HARMFUL CULTURE
The current retaliatory culture between teachers/staff and administrators.
FUNDING SHORTAGES
A lack of funding that has caused a shortage of crucial staffing, resulting in difficult working conditions.
RESTRICTIVE GUIDELINES
Restrictive guidelines that are preventing educators from contributing their professional opinions on both best learning practices and critical budget decisions for their classrooms.
UNCERTAINTY
Evolving uncertainty around the methods of transportation and busing for the upcoming school year.
